About Us
The Cardiff University Law Review is a student-run publication that aims to be at the forefront of legal scholarship, sparking conversation and encouraging reflection among scholars and students, as well as practising lawyers.
The Review strives to shape discussion of the most important and relevant legal issues through a rigorous scholarship selection and editing process. It is made up of issues that constitute an annual volume.
The 2021/22 volume was the first volume of the Cardiff University Law Review. Since then, we have gone from strength to strength, and produce high-quality work on a rolling basis throughout the year.
Our student editors are selected based on their aptitude and interest in legal writing and ensure that submitted work is reviewed to achieve sharpness of substance and tone (read more here). The student editorial team is assisted by dedicated members of staff who help further our commitment to excellence.
